Excellent Examples of Symmetry

Posted by Adrian on Jan-20-08
Today I fixed up a page on my site by adding this Pageflake code to it.
The code sucks photographers examples of symmetry straight from Flickr to
my site. This means that the images will be ever changing. Nice :)

This website is excellent as a webquest introduction to line symmetry and rotational symmetry.

    Hi Adrian,

I was doing a lesson on symmetry, and was unsure of what type of activities would work for young children. Your website was very helpful in choosing the right activity for 1st graders. Can’t wait to get started. Thank you.

  3. Tina Said,

Just been looking at your brilliant selection of symmetrical images and ideas, can’t wait to share with kids tomorrow - very inspirational, especially as it all relates to real life (so much numeracy teaching end up being abstract and without any relevance to the kids in our quest for ‘results’). A BIG thank you from me!
