Here are 3 excellent word games to download play with your students.
The first game focuses on the phonics blends of pl, br,gr, st, fr, sl, scr, str, dr bl, fl & cr.
The next is a tried and true card game that focuses on ai, ay, ee & ea.
The third game I’ve been working on focuses on contractions. (A favourite of many teachers)
I’m currently trying to improve the navigation on my website and have added a ‘breadcrumbs’ tree at the top of the pages to let you know where on the site you are. Hopefully this will help people find more of my games easily.
I’m also in the process of adding a ’search feature’ to each page to help people navigate to games that they have used in the past but just can’t remember where they are
The ‘Tell a friend’ form at the bottom of each page is an attempt to have people spread the word about my site. Feel free to send a few emails to friends about these games.
cheers

Thank you so much for the free printables, you have saved me not only time but much frustration and stress as I can never seem to get the computer to put things where I want them. (Although I am getting better). Just so you know your site is being recomended to begining teachers over here. This is obviously because “YOU ROCK”
With thanks

Dear Mr. Bruce,
I’d like to thank you for this wonderful website — without a doubt, you are truly a giving person (I mean it). I’m homeschooling my three children and I find your website a virtual jewel-box of learning! My kids enjoy the additional activities I give them from your various pages, and had a lot of fun acting out the Bouncing Egg script. Your sense of humour also is a big help, especially when I’m a bit frazzled by all the work.
Thank you and I wish you all the best.
Yours sincerely,

Your site is AMAZING! This is my second year teaching 5th grade and I am so happy I stumbled upon your website. Thank you for being so giving!!! I have already sent this site out to some other educators I know will use it! It is definitely worth posting the materials!

Hey, i was looking for readers for my two schools here in India ( I am an AUssie living and working in India with the aim of providing quality education for disadvantaged children) http://www.gyanankur.com if you want to read more… and loved this site.
Our school is in a village and still trying to figure out how to get on the net there..but a lovely company is donating us 10 computers in a couple of months so that’s a start…hope to be able to share this with my lovely teachers who are doing their best to make school fun and worthwhile for our 270 kids, (30 from a childrens home).
Thanks for your lovely heartfelt work..much appreciated..I know others in India doing the same kind of work on very low budgets….hope you dont mind if I share this info. There are many schools in India running as businesses who could do with it too…:)
