Remember to Laugh

Posted by Adrian on Apr-21-10

I firmly believe the mark of a person is not what they do when they are knocked down once and get back up. It is what they do when they are knocked down a fifth, sixth & seventh time.

I tip my hat to all the educators who are fighting the good fight to make Education relevant to our children in the face of massive ignorance on the part of government & traditional media.

  2. Jodie R Said,

    I loved it Adrian!

I really enjoyed reading your work, and I understood the storyline etc. The graphics and layout are really funky and I think it would appeal to those boys that don’t dig reading. I also liked the up to date language that you used in it.

    Cheers

  3. Robyn Said,

    Hi from Shanghai, China,

With big “THANKS” from a Canadian teacher in Shanghai, China. Your creativity, time and effort is and will forever be much appreciated by me and my students, present and future.

I teach for an international preschool and have been looking for PA ideas suitable for preschoolers aged 4-5, and having almost given up, came across your site. Wow! How colorful your phonics posters, and your use of white space is perfect, not to mention the materials are FREE to share.

You are a true educator in my books.

    With much thanks,

    Robyn

  4. Kylie Said,

Hi from Middlemount, Central Queensland, Australia.

Thanks very much for these activities. I’m adding them as extra resources for my 1st and 2nd year maths subjects at James Cook Uni.(assessment) We have to create a portfolio of teaching resources which mainly explain the “how” and “why” of mathematics. Each week we have to do activities in
our workbook and then have a reflection activiyt for each of the different maths contexts.

So when it comes time for us to do prac and eventually teaching in the classroom, we can pull out our folder and have maths resources ready to go.

So again thank you! This is a wonderful website. I particularly like how each of the activities are bright and colourful. So cross your fingers for a good assessment mark ;)

  5. Sandra Said,

Fabulous! I’ve just started work in an EBD school for ks2/3/4 kids & have been looking for resources like this! Not childish but still fun to do! Many thanks,

    Sandra

  6. Jacqui Said,

Thanks for sharing these great resources. I work with refugee children and we don’t have a lot of money for resources so thanks for contributing to the future of these kids (and for making my life easier).

Your games are fun and easy to play, and visually appealing. I have sent the link to your site to fellow teachers.
