One of my Twitter followers http://twitter.com/jackiegerstein was also 'underwhelmed' by this book and asked why I've set Pink free.

I think it goes back to my first year of teaching. I went off to some PD with a very experienced teacher and I loved the messages presented in the workshop. When we arrived back at school to 'report back' to the staffmeeting the senior teacher just said, 'You know, same old stuff we've heard over and over before'. The principal just nodded and we moved to the next item on the agenda.

So my point is that people are at lots of different points in their professional reading & Pink's book may offer some insight to some people. Not everyone has the same background knowlege and to some people this stuff is new.

cheers
